We can discuss your enquiry and arrange a call-out where appropriate. We provide a free quotation for the work identified after assessing what the existing timber needs.

Your name, contact details and the property location help us start the conversation. Describe the room, floor type if known, current condition and the result you would like. Approximate dimensions are useful if you have them, but you do not need a technical specification. For commercial work, include the type of premises, any access restrictions and the timescale you are working towards.

We are based in Gateshead and work across Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland, Middlesbrough and the wider North East. We also consider suitable projects further afield, including nationwide work. If your property is outside the main area, send the location and scope before ruling it out. We can discuss whether the project is practical and what the next step would be.

Yes, you can email photographs to keithmalbon@btinternet.com with your contact details and property location. Wider room views and closer photographs of worn or damaged areas can help explain your enquiry. Images are a useful starting point, but they may not show the construction, previous treatments or full condition of the timber. We will still discuss whether an on-site assessment is needed before quoting.

Yes. We restore existing wooden floors in homes as well as hotels, hospitality spaces, community halls and other commercial properties. Tell us how the room or premises are used and any important timing or access requirements. We can then discuss the project and plan the appropriate assessment, rather than assuming that every property can follow the same working arrangements.
